Romeoville Youth Football and Cheerleading Inducts Three to Hall of Fame

Dale Blum Jr., Dale Blum Sr. and the late Bud Watters were inducted as the first three members of the Romeoville Football and Cheerleading Hall of Fame on Saturday, September 2nd. Watters and Blum Sr. founded the program in 1965 while Blum Jr. presided over its revival in 1998.

“All of Romeoville should be proud to have individuals like these three in our community,” remarked Mayor Noak. “They took the time to create a high caliber program for our kids that not only teaches them the basics of football and cheerleading, but also life lessons like hard work, commitment, and good sportsmanship.”
