Scene75 Acquired By New Owners

The Romeoville Scene75 offers 135,000 square feet of space, at 460 S. Weber Road.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Scene75, the indoor entertainment center which opened in Romeoville last year, has been acquired by new owners. Five Star Parks acquired Scene75, which has five locations, including four in Ohio.

With this acquisition, Five Star Parks & Attractions expands its portfolio to 25 Family Entertainment Centers in 12 states, according to a news release from the business.

"We are pleased to welcome Scene75 to the growing Five Star Parks family," John Dunlap, CEO of Five Star Parks & Attractions, said in a release. "We have long admired Scene75's commitment to providing high-quality, innovative entertainment experiences for families and are excited to continue that tradition."

The Romeoville Scene75 offers 135,000 square feet of space, at 460 S. Weber Road, and features electric go-karts, spinning roller coaster, spinning two-story drop tower, arcade games, two-story laser tag, two mini golf courses, inflatable bouncing and toddler area, bumper cars, mini-bowling, batting cages, a laser maze, a food court, sweet shop and private party rooms.

The acquisition of Scene75 marks the latest in a series of strategic acquisitions for Five Star Parks & Attractions, which has been expanding its footprint in the family entertainment industry, the business said in a release.

Other Five Star partners include The Track Family Fun Parks, Adventure Ziplines and Xtreme Racing in Branson, Missouri; Lazerport Fun Center, SpeedZone and Xtreme Racing in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; The Celebration Station Brand in Clearwater, Florida; Baton Rouge, Lousiana; Greensboro, North Carolina; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Mesquite, Texas; The Craig’s Cruisers Brand in the Michigan locations of Grand Rapids, Holland and Muskegon; and The Malibu Jack’s Brand in Louisville, Lexington and Ashland, Kentucky, including the most recent in Lafayette, Indiana.
