Armando Romero, 28, of the 2000 block of Parkrose Ave. in Crest Hill, was arrested April 4 by Romeoville police on a charge of failure to report a change of address as a sex offender. Romero was convicted in Cook County of criminal sex abuse; the victim was 14 and Romero was 18 at the time of the offense, according to the registry. He also has prior convictions for failure to report an address change and being a child sex offender in a school zone, according to the registry, which lists an address in the 2000 block of Trafalgar in Romeoville.
Xavier Marquez, 22, of 1023 Key Largo Drive, was arrested April 5 by Romeoville police on charges of possession of 100-500 grams of cannabis and manufacture/delivery of 30-500 grams of cannabis.
