Slashed Tires, Smashed Windows Reported In Romeoville

One neighborhood reported damage to vehicles, while someone used a bat to smash car windows in another in Romeoville.

12:19 p.m. March 13: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 300 block of Healy. Unknown person(s) damaged nine tires on five cars that were parked in the driveway and in the street in front of the residence.

12:44 p.m. March 13: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 300 block of Healy. Unknown person(s) punctured the sidewall of a tire that was parked in the street.

3:37 p.m. March 15: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 500 block of Camden. Unknown person(s) appeared to have used a baseball bat to break all the windows on a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence.

3:48 p.m. March 15: A retail theft was reported in the 600 block of South Weber Road. An unknown person took a bottle of liquor valued at $48.99 from the business.

5:16 p.m. March 15: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 400 block of Stone Bluff. Unknown person(s) broke out the back window of a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence.

1:21 p.m March 18:A retail theft was reported in the 400 block of South Weber Road. An unknown person took two computer routers and a plastic storage bin with a total value of $707.98 from the business.
