Smashed Christmas Decorations, Stolen Purses In Romeoville

Recent Romeoville police reports.

Dec. 1: A retail theft was reported in the 400 block of South Weber Road. An unknown person took $70.77 in assorted merchandise from the store.

Dec. 2: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 1600 block of Rose Court. Unknown person(s) smashed a light Christmas tree in the street in front of the residence.

Dec. 2: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 1400 block of Joliet Road. Unknown person(s) took a tool box containing numerous hand tools from a parked unlocked vehicle.

Dec. 3: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 1500 block of West Normantown Road. Unknown person(s) broke a passenger window and took a purse from the parked vehicle.
