Stolen Car, Graffiti, Car Burglaries: Romeoville Police Reports
Recent incidents reported by Romeoville police.

Sept. 8: A theft under $500 was reported in the 200 block of West Normantown Road. A boy’s bicycle that was left unlocked was taken from the business by unknown person(s).
Sept. 9: A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 1600 block of William. Unknown person(s) spray painted graffiti on the garage door of the residence.
Sept. 10: A burglary was reported in the 1100 block of West Airport Road. Unknown person(s) took dry wall tools and numerous power tools from the job site.

Sept. 12: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 500 block of Camden. Unknown person(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and took approximately $30 in change.
Sept. 12: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Dexter. Unknown person(s) entered an unlocked vehicle that was in the driveway of the residence. The vehicle was rummaged through but nothing was taken.

Sept. 13: A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 1000 block of West Crossroads Parkway. Unknown person(s) took a vehicle that was parked in business’ lot. The vehicle is valued at $5,900.
Sept. 17: A retail theft was reported in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. An unknown person took five package of cigars from the business.
