Stolen Car, Slashed Tires, Wallet Theft: Romeoville Reports
A roundup of recent crimes reported by Romeoville police.

May 31: A retail theft was reported in the 400 block of North Independence. $29.37 in gas was taken in a drive off at the business.
June 3: A theft under $500.00 was reported in the 300 block of Hickory. A package containing a vehicle diagnostic scanner was taken from the porch by an unknown person.
June 6: A burglary was reported in the 200 block of Haller. Unknown person(s) entered a garage and smashed a window of a vehicle that was parked there.

June 9: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 700 block of West Normantown. Four juveniles damaged twenty bricks that were on the property due to recent construction.
June 9: A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 0-100 block of Paladino Drive. A 2014 Nissan that was left unlocked with the key fob in the vehicle was taken by unknown person(s). The vehicle contained a suitcase with clothing and a pair of headphones.

June 9: A theft under $500.00 was reported in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. Unknown person(s) took $200.00 and two credit cards from a wallet that locked in a locker at the business.
June 9: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Highpoint Drive. Unknown person(s) took a phone charger and the registration card was taken.
June 10: A residential burglary was reported in the 700 block of Essex. A window was broken at the residence and it appeared that nothing from the home had been taken.
June 11:A criminal defacement to property was reported in the 400 block of Macon. Unknown person(s) drew graffiti on an electrical pole.
June 13: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 700 block of Theodore Ct. Unknown person(s) slashed all four tires on a parked vehicle.
