Bullet Holes Found In Unoccupied Vehicle In Romeoville: Police
Officers found the unoccupied vehicle, which had struck a pole, after a report of gunshots Monday night in Romeoville, police said.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — Police found an unoccupied vehicle with several bullet holes in its side after reports of shots being fired on Monday in Romeoville, police said.
Officers were dispatched to Normantown Road, east of Weber Road, for a report of gunshots around 9:50 p.m. Monday, according to police. Officers found a vehicle in the area that had struck a pole, and had several bullet holes in the side. The vehicle was unoccupied, police said.
Officers interviewed several witnesses and believe it was a targeted incident, police said.

The case remains under investigation by the Romeoville Police Investigations unit.
There were no reports of injuries, police said.
