Valley View School Board Meetings Move to New Location

ROMEOVILLE, IL -- Starting Feb. 13, Valley View School District Board of Education meetings will move from the current administration center to Lukancic Middle School, 725 Normantown Road.

The change of venue comes thanks to a planned relocation of the administration center, which will move from 755 Dalhart Ave. to a former commercial site at 801 Normantown Road to make way for an expansion of the district's Early Childhood Center.

The expansion could allow for up to 12 additional classrooms, according to the Bugle Newspaper.

The board meets at the fourth Monday of every month; the public portion of meetings begins at 7 p.m. Meetings are rebroadcast on Bolingbrook Community Television and Romeoville Public Television (Channel 6). Video is also available on the Valley View website.
