Victory Chapel Special Use Permit Approved In Romeoville

The board approved a special use permit for Victory Chapel, at 3 E. Romeo Road.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Village Board approved a special use permit for Victory Chapel at its Wednesday board meeting. The church is looking to purchase property at 3 E. Romeo Road, and use the existing building on the site, Community Development Director Josh Potter said during Wednesday's workshop meeting.

Potter said the site was previously used as a church in the 1990s, and most recently used as a daycare.

The building needs to be brought up to code, Potter said. The parking spaces also need to be striped, and an existing playground would be removed.

Potter said the church has between 30 and 35 members, and would meet on Wednesday and Sunday at the properties. There is no associated school with the church.
