Visa Gift Cards Stolen from Business: Romeoville Blotter

Incidents occurred between Feb. 7 and Feb. 15.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.


Feb. 7

Meghan Tatum, 21, of the 3500 block of Old Renwick Trail in Joliet, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of S. Weber Rd.

Feb. 10

Mieczyslaw Sadowski, 50, of the 2000 block of Kentland Dr. in Romeoville, was picked up on an in-state warrant. The arrest occurred in the 2000 block of Kentland.

Deja McAllister, 18, of the 2300 block of Bicentennial Ave. in Crest Hill, was charged with no valid driver’s license and speeding. The arrest occurred at Taylor Rd and Wespark.

Feb. 11

A theft over $500 was reported in the 400 block of South Weber Road. Someone took several Visa gift cards from the business.

Feb. 12

Gerald Fikes, 55, of the 7500 block of S. Dorchester, was charged with no valid driver’s license and improper U-turn. The arrest occurred at Normantown and Weber Rd.

Feb. 13

Erica Jones, 44, of the 6700 block of S. Oakley in Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended, obstructing identification, failure to yield and expired registration. The arrest occurred at Dartmoor and Troxel.

Feb. 15

Keenan Shines, 19, of the 100 block of Cherrywood Ct. in Romeoville, was charged with criminal trespass to residence. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of Cherrywood.

Andre Kennings, 40, of the 700 block of Patton Dr. in Buffalo Grove, was charged with driving while license suspended and no insurance. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of S. Weber Rd.

A burglary was reported in the 600 block of Phelps. A door, door frame and lock were damaged when an unknown person tried to enter the business after hours. Nothing appears to have been taken.
