Vito Martinez Middle School held their annual McTeacher's Night
The Romeoville McDonald's was taken over by teachers excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families
A. Vito Martinez Middle School held their annual McTeacher's Night on Thursday, May 10th, at the Romeoville McDonald's on Independence Blvd. The Romeoville McDonald's was taken over by teachers excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families to raise money for A Vito Martinez Middle School. The students and families were excited to see their teachers behind the counter and throughout the restaurant.
The teachers worked many different jobs during this event. Teachers helped take orders, work the drive-thru window, handed out orders, helped cleaned the lobby and sold many delicious hot apple pies.
During this event, Vito Martinez Elementary School staff members, Clark Comstock, Sarah DeDonato and Assistant Principal Bill Normand dressed in a pie costume while Marlene Dunleavy, and Kim Holloway and Amy O'Mara escorted them with a tray of Hot Apple Pies to sell. All proceeds from the pie sales go to the school. McDonald’s Owner/Operators, The Spence Family, donated all pies that were sold during this event.
