Win RomeoFest Mega Passes: Follow Romeoville PD Clues
Follow the Romeoville Police Department on Twitter for clues to help you win. Plus, find a guide to RomeoFest 2018 here.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Starting July 30, area residents will have four chances to win a voucher for two free RomeoFest Mega Passes, priced starting at $45 and good for unlimited rides all four days of the fest, which runs Aug. 2 to 5. All you have to do to win is follow the Romeoville Police Department on Twitter and use the clues that will lead you to the whereabouts of the vouchers.
One voucher will be hidden on each of these four days: Monday, July 30; Tuesday, July 31; Wednesday, Aug. 1; and Thursday, Aug. 2. Here's how it works:
- Clues as to the location of the vouchers will be shared starting at 1 p.m. each giveaway day. All secret locations are within the Village of Romeoville's corporate boundaries.
- The first person who locates the voucher and brings it to the Romeoville Police Department front desk, 1050 W. Romeo Road, will win two Mega Passes, courtesy of the Village of Romeoville.
- To participate, you must have a Twitter account and follow @Romeoville_PD. You must also retweet and "like" at least one of the Twitter posts regarding the giveaway.
- Employees of the Romeoville Police Department and their families are not eligible for the giveaway.
- Winners may win only once for the duration of the contest.
- Winners' photos will be posted to the Romeoville_PD Twitter account and tagged.
- Anyone who violates these rules, state or federal law, or village ordinance to locate the vouchers will be disqualified. Speeding and reckless driving or conduct will not be tolerated. Do not drive and use electronic devices at the same time.

Here's what you need to know about the four-day fest, which kicks off Thursday, Aug. 2, and runs through Sunday, Aug. 5.

- 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday
- 5 to 11 p.m. Friday
- Noon to 11 p.m. Saturday
- Noon to 9:30 p.m. Sunday

- Through Aug. 1 - $45 cash, $47 credit/debit, available at Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Road, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday/Sunday
- Aug. 2-5 - $50 cash only, available in carnival during carnival hours only.
Daily wristbands
- Good for unlimited rides on day of purchase only during carnival hours - $30 cash only
Shuttle bus service
- 6 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday
- 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday
Food Fest 1 Mile Race
- 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2 at Romeoville Toyota Pavilion, 1050 W. Romeo Road
- Register online or print mail-in registration form; $20 for adults 21 and older, $15 for those ages 20 and younger
- Limited to 250 participants
- DJ before/during race, followed by live music from Sixteen Candles at 8 p.m.
- Check in at Toyota Pavilion by 6 p.m.
- Participants receive three food fest samples; beer, soda or water; event T-shirts (not guaranteed for those who register after July 23)
- Walkers welcome

Adult bean bag tournament
- For ages 18 and older; register day of in RomeoFest beverage garden
- 6 p.m. start on Thursday, $10 per person, blind draw
- 4 p.m. start on Saturday, $40 per team, team play

Talent show

- No judging — just a chance to show off your talent (including, but not limited to singing, dancing, playing an instrument, performing a skit, magic tricks, juggling)
