• Grayslake Clears an $18 Billion Data Center Despite a Lawsuit to Stop It (startupfortune.com) — Residents from Round Lake Park have joined a lawsuit challenging Grayslake’s approvals for a massive $18 billion AI data center campus that just received its first building permit. The suit argues Grayslake’s zoning doesn’t clearly allow data centers and claims open-meetings violations, even as construction prep begins. A key status hearing is set for October 30 in Lake County court.
