The charges stem from an incident that occurred at around 7:25 p.m. March 20. Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies went to the 2500 block of Light Road in Oswego for a report of criminal damage to property. The victim reported a man had cut her tire following an argument about driving dangerously. The suspect and vehicle descriptions were provided by witnesses at the scene.

Shortly after, deputies found a vehicle that matched the description given by the witnesses. When officers tried to make contact with the man, he fled on foot. After searching the vehicle, deputies found cannabis, paraphernalia and other contraband. Also recovered were a large number of Sweet Tarts candies laced with Xanax.
