Joliet Teen Wanted For Armed Robbery Nabbed at East Side Gas Station
A second robber remains at large, police said.

A Joliet teen wanted for allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint was apprehended Wednesday at a McDonough Street gas station.
Teren Frazier, 19, was picked up about 6 p.m. on charges of armed robbery and aggravated robbery in connection with a May 19 stickup.
A 40-year-old man walked into the police station that day and said he had been robbed.

The man told officers he was followed by two men from a South Chicago Street gas station over to South Des Plaines Street. There, one of the men pulled a silver handgun, told him, “You know what this is about,” and relieved him of his cash, police said.
The second man looked through the victim’s backpack but took nothing out of it and dropped the bag on the ground.

A detective identified Frazier through surveillance video from the service station. Police secured a warrant for Frazier’s arrest Tuesday. He was taken to the Will County jail and his bond was set at $950,000.
Frazier’s accomplice remains at large, police said.
