Jumpmen: Thugs Beat & Rob Teen of His Air Jordans in Channahon
Three creeps jumped out of a minivan to waylay and rob a teenage boy.
A teenage boy walking along the streets of Channahon was waylaid and robbed of his Air Jordan sneakers by three thugs who jumped out of a minivan.
The 15-year-old was walking near the intersection of Kimberly Lane and Lauren Drive about noon Wednesday when a red minivan pulled up on him.
Three white males emerged from the minivan, knocked the teen to the ground and stole his sneakers, which were reportedly valued at about $200. The muggers then got back in the minivan and drove off.
The teen was not hurt in the robbery, police said.
The thieves remain at large.
