Age 71, a longtime Channahon, IL resident, passed suddenly, Thursday, September 30, 2021. She was born December 13, 1949 in Chicago, IL and was raised in Cicero, IL.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charlie Mau; sons, Louie Mau, Mike Mau (fiancé Angela Wolfe) and Josh (JoEllen) Mau; grandchildren, Dylan and Leila Mau; Patrick Augustine; Eli and Logan Mau; siblings, Joseph (Kay) Colella, Donna (Gerald) Sebalj and Paul (Tammy) Colella. Several nieces and nephews as well as her dear friends at the Chaney Club also survive.
Preceded in death by her mother, Joanne Colella.

Cindy enjoyed shopping, visiting with her dear friends at the Chaney Club and pontooning on the Fox River, however, nothing gave her more joy than being with her grandchildren.
Visitation for Cindy will be Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. Funeral services are Wednesday, October 6, 2021, 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorials in her name can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
