Donna Jean Wissel, Age 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Arcadia Care of Morris. Born in Harvey, IL to the late Arthur and Ruby Larson, Donna had most recently been residing in Wilmington, and in Morris for the past 5 years. On April 24, 1964, Donna married her husband David Wissel, and the two shared over 50 years of marriage until his passing in 2015. They enjoyed traveling the country in their motor home more than anything in the world. Donna loved decorating and shopping, but more than anything she enjoyed talking to people and spending time with her family.

Donna is survived by her children, son Scott (Renee) Wissel of Shorewood, and daughter Debby (Don) Kapinus of Goose Lake; and her grandchildren, Paige (Ryan) Pullara, Kylie Wissel, and Madison Kapinus. She is preceded in death by her husband, David C. Wissel.

Visitation for Donna Jean Wissel will be Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 2-7 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive in Morris. Funeral services and interment at Mound Grove Cemetery, Kankakee will be private.
