Leonard Stefancic
Leonard Stefancic, age 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Pearl of Joliet. He was born on Christmas Day 1934, in Johnston City, IL to the late Rudolph and Anna Stefancic. Leonard served in the Merchant Marines as a young man and worked for many years at St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet as a supervisor. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid reader.

Leonard is survived by his wife Janet; his cousin Carol Fox; stepdaughter, Kimberly Medina; stepson, Robert Reddell; and several grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Leonard’s life on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black (at Essington) Rd., Joliet starting at 10:00 a.m. and concluding with services at 11 a.m.

As it was his final wish, cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment to take place at a later date at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet.
