Mable L. Terry

Age 85, of Joliet, Illinois passed peacefully at home, early Saturday morning, December 9, 2023. She was born April 29, 1938 to the late Theresa (Engle) and Kenneth Goodman in Mundelein, Illinois.

Mable is survived by her sons, Ken Bauer and Donald C. Terry, Jr.; grandchildren, Christopher, Keeley and Brenda; siblings, Aggie "Carol" Evans, Pat Goodman, Bonnie Peskie, Mary Fletcher and Chuck Goodman. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Terry, Sr., her son, Darrin C. Terry; parents and siblings, Kenny, George and Bob Goodman.

Mable retired as Vice President of Emergency Medical Associates.

She will be remembered fondly by her loved ones' as a kind, caring, and energetic woman who was fiercely independent. She loved animals and was an advocate for childrens health needs as a strong supporter of St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.

A Memorial Gathering for Mable Terry will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. A prayer service will conclude the afternoon, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

As it was Mable's wish cremation rites were accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
