Sharon was born on May 4, 1943 in Chippewa Falls WI to Robert and Naomi (Melville) Lloyd. She grew up on Lake Wissota and spent treasured time on her grandparents’ farm and apple orchard. She graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1961. On November 14th, 1964, she married Bob Duncan at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. They subsequently moved to Channahon, IL where they lived their entire married life.

In addition to her husband, Lucky is survived by her four children; Debbie (Steve) Girardi of Sheboygan, WI, Bobby (Chrissy) Duncan of Watertown, NY, Pam (Steve) Groszek of Chicago and Kim (Eric) Gray of New Lenox, IL all of whom she happily served as chief driver, baker and cheerleader for many years and occasions. As her six granddaughters arrived she took on the new role as card sender, cookie decorator and enthusiastic cheerleader for Cierra Balfour and Ally Duncan, Maggie and Elizabeth Groszek and Jillian and Cassidy Gray. She is further survived by her brothers, Larry Lloyd, Mike (Suzi) Lloyd and Bob (Roxi) Lloyd; and her brothers-in-law, Jim (Mary) Flanagan, and John (Pam) Duncan; and her sisters-in-law, Sue Lloyd, Judy (Danny) Ramaker and Elaine Duncan.

In addition to her parents, Lucky was preceded in death by her in laws, Howard and Agnes Duncan; her sister, Sandy Flanagan; brother, Bill Lloyd; sister-in-law, Patti Lloyd; brother-in-law, Tom Duncan; and sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Paul Sokup.

Lucky never met a team she couldn't coach or cheer on, a concession stand she couldn't stock, staff and run, or a meal she couldn't plan, cook and serve. She enjoyed many fun times at the bowling alley, card table and on the golf course with her dear friends over the years. When her husband became Deacon Bob, she studied alongside him, supported him and became a deacon’s devoted wife. She spent many hours at St. Ann, serving up dessert favorites at the Lenten fish fry and various luncheons. She wholeheartedly participated and contributed to every organization of which she was a part.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lightways Hospice and Visiting Angels for their care over the past several months.
