President Trump's Tyranny Will End After November's Mid-Term Elections: Shorewood Seniors No Kings Day
Saturday marked the No Kings rally for the Shorewood Seniors group. They gathered along North River Road and cars were honking.

SHOREWOOD, IL — At least a few dozen people in their 60s, 70s, 80s and even 90s gathered along North River Road in Shorewood on Saturday afternoon to stage their No Kings Day 3 demonstration against President Donald Trump.
Some of their signs read: "You Can't Kill Democracy," "SAVE ME!" "No Kings In America" and "No Kings Since 1776."
Joliet Patch's editor chose to cover the Shorewood "No Kings" rally since Patch has previously covered the demonstrations held in Joliet. Saturday's two-hour event took place from 1 to 3 p.m. in front of The Timbers of Shorewood.

Organizers said they are deeply concerned about what they view as cruel and unaccountable enforcement actions carried out by federal immigration authorities in cities across the United States. The group states that its purpose is to stand for the rule of law, for due process, and for the dignity of life and liberty guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution.
The demonstrators also predicted that the Democrats should definitely win the November mid-term elections by a strong margin, therefore diminishing President Trump's power and ending the Republican Party's control of Congress.
