2 Injured in 3-Car Crash in Skokie

One of the cars slammed into an apartment building on Skokie Boulevard on Saturday.

SKOKIE, IL - A car slammed into a Skokie apartment building after a three-vehicle crash that resulted in two injuries on Saturday.

An 87-year-old man driving a white car in the 9100 block of Skokie Boulevard around 10 a.m. that day hit a red car being driven by a 67-year-old woman and then slammed into an unoccupied car owned by a probation officer and the doorway of an apartment building, according to a Chicago Sun-Times report.

The collision caused the red car to crash into a tree.

Both drivers were hospitalized but are expected to survive.
