There are only two more Skokie Farmers’ Markets remaining this season! Visit this Sunday, October 18 and meet an awesome Skokie Animal Control Officer and check out Skokie’s impressive Animal Control Truck!

While at the market, enjoy a chili chef demo by vendor, Snapper Creek Beef. Many of the ingredients for the chef demo are sourced at the Skokie Farmers’ Market. Snapper Creek Beef will share their Farmers’ Market recipe and provide tastings. The market is always proud to support local farmers and support family businesses.

Families, you never know what kind of balloon creation RC Juggle, the amazing balloon artist, will construct! Stick around to hear music by Richard Northrop too!

The Market is open Sunday’s through October 25, 2015 from 7:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. and located in the west half of the Village Hall parking lot at 5127 Oakton Street.

A wide selection of fresh grown seasonal fruits and vegetables are always in abundance at the Farmers’ Market. Also available are fresh baked goods, farm fresh eggs, meats, a variety of mushrooms and cheeses, fresh cut flowers, plants and much more. Arrive early for the best selection and pick up a bushel of apples before the market comes to a close.

Don’t miss the last market event!

· October 25 – It’s Trick or Treat time! Dress in costume, guess the weight of the pumpkin and enjoy music by Richard Northrop and Whitey O’Day. Also view the Community Photo Exhibit - Skokie Through the Lens 2015 on display at the Market for one day!
