Annual Winter

Our annual winter festival celebrates the season in song and performance.

Our Annual Winter Festival is on December 14th at 10:30 a.m. at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago, 7574 North Lincoln Avenue in Skokie. Tom Hoeppner and Katherine Ross will lead us in our traditional celebration of the winter solstice. We’ll enjoy a candle-lighting ceremony, decoration of a “mitten tree,” group singing, and musical and dramatic performances by our children. Your donations of new winter clothing and non-perishable food items will adorn the tree and be sent to those in need. “Coffee and” begins at 10 a.m., and following the Festival we’ll enjoy hot chocolate and homemade cookies.

Please join us for Coffee Hour after the program. All are welcome to our Sunday programs, which are free and open to the public, and childcare is available. For more information, please visit ethicalhuman.org.
