Appointment-Only Flu Shot Clinics for Skokie Residents

During October, the Skokie Health Department will be offering flu shots to Skokie residents four years of age and older.

During October, the Skokie Health Department will be offering flu shots to Skokie residents four years of age and older on a first-come, first-served basis by appointment. Appointments can be made online by visiting the Village of Skokie website at www.skokie.org. If you do not have internet access, call the Health Department at 847/933-8252 to make an appointment. Proof of Skokie residency is required.

Influenza vaccination clinics will be held at the Oakton Community Center located at Oakton Park, 4701 Oakton Street on:

· Wednesday, October 7 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

· Wednesday, October 14 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

· Monday, October 19 from 3 to 7 p.m.

Residents with Medicare Part B need to show their Medicare card during the registration process. Please wear loose fitting clothing to allow easier access to your upper arm to give the vaccination.
