Begin the College Journey at Sophomore College Night
Niles North and Niles West sophomores and their families can learn about the college process on September 9
The college search and application process can be very confusing. District 219 sophomores and their parents are invited to start the journey at Sophomore College Night from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9 in the Auditorium at Niles North High School, 9800 Lawler, Skokie. This free informational session will cover the following topics: college selection process, high school course requirements for college, and admissions criteria. College and Career Counselors Dan Gin (Niles West), Allegra Giulietti-Schmitt (Niles North) and Dean of College Counseling Jerry Pope will be available to answer questions. Translation will be available in the following languages: Spanish, Korean, Urdu, Assyrian and Arabic.
