Blood Cancer Information for Spanish-speaking Patients

Leukemia Research Foundation with Gilda's Club Chicago host Educational Seminar on Blood Cancer in Spanish.

Information on leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndromes will be presented for patients and their families on Saturday, October 3 at La Casa: 1815 S. Paulina in Chicago, from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The Educational Seminar on Blood Cancers, conducted entirely in Spanish, is hosted by the Leukemia Research Foundation (LRF) in partnership with Gilda’s Club Chicago. Individuals diagnosed with a blood cancer can learn the latest about their disease. The program will also include presentations from experts including Dr. Morris Kletzel from the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, an oncology nurse, as well as a patient and a caregiver. In addition, a question and answer session will take place.

Complimentary parking is included, as well as a light lunch and supervised childcare for the program. Reservations are appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome.
