Car Strikes Yellow Line Train In Skokie
A low-speed collision between a train and a car suspended CTA Yellow Line service shortly after noon Thursday.

SKOKIE, IL — No one was injured after a collision between a train and a CTA Yellow Line near the Skokie station Thursday, according to police.
All trains were halted briefly near the Skokie station after a car pulled out of a car wash in the 8400 block of Niles Center Road and drove into the path of a train, police said.
The CTA said it restored service after briefly shuttling riders on buses but reported residual delays.
