Members of the Consumer Affairs Commission will hand out a free trick-or-treat bag with a treat to children. All are encouraged to participate in the Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin contest to win a Farmers’ Market gift basket. The winner will be announced at noon. The Commission also is accepting donations of non-perishable food items to benefit the Niles Township Food Pantry. Items will be collected at the Consumer Affairs Commission table in the Market on this day. Glass jars and perishable items are not accepted.
View the market’s first outdoor Community Photo Exhibit - Skokie Through the Lens 2015, on display at the Market for one day only! The one day exhibit is brought to patrons by the Skokie Fine Arts Commission, along with the Skokie Photographic Society. The theme of the exhibit is Skokie at Leisure and it captures what makes Skokie a great place to live, work and play.
