Skokie Resident Gabrielle Sanders Wins $1,500 Scholarship Through Abe's Plain, Honest Scholarship Sweepstakes

Nine Winners Will Receive $1,500 for Undergraduate Costs; Entries Accepted Through December 31, 2026

Gabrielle Sanders, a student at Western Michigan University and a Skokie resident, recently won a $1,500 scholarship through Abe’s Plain, Honest Scholarship Sweepstakes.

The sweepstakes, which opened for entries April 1 and closes December 31, 2026, builds on financial assistance opportunities from Abe®, which is best known for its private student loans. Winners can apply their scholarships toward tuition, books, supplies, and other college expenses.

“We are proud of our scholarship winners’ commitment to a college education, and pleased that this sweepstakes will help them advance their goals,” said Steve Winnie, President, Monogram LLC, which created and administers Abe.

Altogether, there will be nine $1,500 scholarship winners, with one individual’s name drawn every month through January 2027. For the greatest chance of winning, individuals can complete an entry form for each upcoming entry period shown here.

The no-essay scholarship sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the U.S./District of Columbia, age 18-plus, who are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an eligible institution, or the parents of these students. Students and their parents do not need to apply for an Abe student loan in order to enter. Winners will be selected at the beginning of each month following the previous month's entry period.
