Congregation Bene Shalom Hosts 5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche Oct. 21

Skokie, IL: Congregation Bene Shalom proudly presents “5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche,” brought to you by Mosaic Players, a traveling theatre troupe whose work embraces social justice, human rights, and equality. “5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche,” written by Evan Linder and Andrew Hobgood, will be performed at Congregation Bene Shalom (4435 Oakton Street, Skokie, IL 60076) on October 21 at 7:30pm. Closed captioning will be available for this performance.

“5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche” is a satire of women's roles in the 1950s, enlisting its characters in a caricature of the sexism, heterosexism, consumerism, and Communism exuberant in the era. Come join us for this absurdly adorable and unapologetic declaration of female independence! “5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
