Construction has resumed on Crawford Avenue from Oakton Street to Jarvis Avenue in Skokie. There will be daily, daytime lane closures when crews are replacing some driveways, sidewalks, traffic signals and landscaping. Full time lane closures (duration 2-3 weeks) at the CTA railroad tracks for pavement replacement is expected. A time frame for this portion has not been scheduled at this time. The contractor will be working on mostly landscaping which includes grading and sodding of parkways along with the enhanced plantings in the medians which includes new top soil, trees, perennials and an irrigation system. The entire project including the section within the Village of Lincolnwood is scheduled to be completed by the end of July.
