Earth Day at McGrath Evanston Subaru

McGrath Evanston Subaru has joined local schools to collect candy and snack wrappers that get turned into new products like the freebies.

McGrath Evanston Subaru loves the earth and promotes recycling by providing Zero Waste Boxes throughout our store. Customers and employees are encouraged to place their disposable coffee cups, K-Cup®, or snack wrappers in zero waste boxes throughout their store.

Those recyclables could become a park bench or bike rack in your neighborhood. Subaru has partnered with TerraCycle® to collect trash such as coffee capsules, disposable cups, and straws that have been diverted from local landfills.

Subaru is recognized for having the first automotive assembly plant in America designated as zero-landfill. In addition, Subaru shares its knowledge of zero-landfill practices with the National Park Service to reduce landfill waste from our parks in partnership with National Parks Conservation Association. Yosemite, Grand Teton, and Denali are all working toward significantly reducing waste going into landfills.
