Edens Slow Due to Crash Near Dempster

Traffic is slow on the outbound Edens Expressway near Skokie as of 2:45 p.m. Monday.

According to a WGN traffic alert, an accident near the Dempster Street exit is blocking the right lane. The average speed is 32 mph, and current estimates show a 32-minute drive from the Junction to Lake Cook Road.

Further north in North Chicago, northbound US-41 is blocked from IL-176 to IL-137 due to an injury crash.

Southbound US-41 lanes remain open.
