Production: SHAW’S FARM a New Country Music-Musical

Date/Time: Saturday January 5^th from 10:00am-1:00pm

Audition Location: Gorilla Tango Theatre BUCKTOWN, 1919 N Milwaukee Ave in Chicago, IL, across from the Western Blue Line stop.

Rehearsals and Performances to be held at Gorilla Tango's SKOKIE THEATRE located at 7924 Lincoln Ave. in Skokie IL (a few blocks from the yellow line)

Equity / Non Equity: Non

Pay: None

Type / Restrictions: Looking to cast 10-11 Men and 10-11 Women between the ages of 18 and 60. All actors should wear clothes they can move in and no skirts, dresses or open toed shoes. Characters offered are from a range of types and personalities, including non singing extras. We currently have all male roles open and will fill on a first-come-first-serve basis (as long as you can sing well).

Time Commitment: Tues-Thurs starting January 7^th and going until February/March Performances: Opens Sunday February 17^th and 24^th and closing March 3^rd and 10^th. Most rehearsals will be from 8pm-11pm Mon, Wed & Fri, with some differences.

Material to Prepare: One comedic Monologue, two minutes preferred and 16 bars of a musical or a song that you like. Headshot /Resume preferred but will accept a 3x5 photo. Monologue does not have to be memorized but should be age and type appropriate.

PIANO-We are also seeking a volunteer piano player to help at auditions and play for rehearsals and performances. Interested parties should contact auditions@amazingsammo.com.

After a bad season, farmers are faced with having to foreclose and auction off their property and move on. Thanks to the help of the farmers’ eldest children, the farms are saved and a little romance is kindled in this new Country Music-Musical written by Gwen Rosman
