Evanston Music Makers Pen Song for Award Winning Documentary and Music Revolution to End Homelessness, Sunday, July 12th

My name is Lynn Orman Weiss a resident of Skokie/Evanston, WNUR Blues Show DJ and I am the Producer of the 5th Annual, Music Revolution to End Homelessness in Douglas Park. This year the concert which follows the 5K Run to End Homelessness will feature amazing music, three of the performers are from the North Shore and the producers, myself included are from Evanston and Skokie. My Co-Producers are music veteran Producers from Evanston, Gus Redmond and Jerry Williams from Richton Park.

LAVESH and Uncle Butchie’s Live House wrote the song, ‘Call On Me’ written for the movie, ‘Raggedy Man’ which won an Orlando Film & Music Festival won Best Short Film.

Laura Bretan from Northbrook is an award winning 13 year old Opera singer has penned a song, ‘Walk By Faith’ and will have the world premiere at the Music Revolution to End Homelessness on Sunday, July 12th following the 5K Run.

XAZZ Band is from Highland Park and is last year’s winner of the Bitter Jester Battle of the Bands. They were nominated by the A Safe Haven music committee to be one of the headliners of this years Music Revolution to End Homelessness.
