Visit the market this Sunday for the first ever story time with the Skokie Public Library!

The Skokie Farmers’ Market season is in overdrive! Visit the market this Sunday, September 27 for the first ever story time with the Skokie Public Library at 10 a.m. at the Village Green. Bring the little ones to hear the classic story of the Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle.
Don’t miss out! Families are certain to feel special with a custom balloon created by the amazing balloon artist, RC Juggle from 8:30 a.m. to noon. You’ll be astonished by his creativity!
Music will be provided by the impressive Amadeo String Duo, a pair of Skokie student musicians who play the cello and violin.

The Market is open Sunday’s through October 25, 2015 from 7:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. and located in the west half of the Village Hall parking lot at 5127 Oakton Street.
Don’t miss out on the wide selection of fresh grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, which are always in abundance. Also available are fresh baked goods, farm fresh eggs, meats, a variety of mushrooms and cheeses, fresh cut flowers and plants and much more. Arrive early for the best selection.

There are new vendors and other fun surprises at this year’s Farmers’ Market for families including a Touch-a-Truck event on October 4, a vendor demo and meet the Animal Control Division on October 18, balloon artist and a variety of musicians.
