Helping children with cancer smile
A bringing some joy to teenagers battling cancer cruise.
Lincolnwood-based Chicago Private Yacht Rentals hosted a charitable charter yacht cruise aboard the Adeline's Sea Moose on Lake Michigan as part of the Sunshine Kids Foundation Teen Chicago Getaway 2024.
The Sunshine Kids and their medical volunteer chaperones were taken on an exhilarating Lake Michigan cruise, where Adeline's Sea Moose crew lavished them with pampering.
"It may have been a slightly cool evening on Lake Michigan, but bringing some joy to teenagers battling cancer certainly warmed my heart." Chicago Private Yacht Rentals president Brian Urbanowski. "I encourage others to consider supporting the Sunshine Kids Foundation in any way they can to help bring joy to the lives of young cancer patients."

Chicago Private Yacht Rentals hosted a similar Sunshine Teen Chicago Getaway experience aboard Adeline's Sea Moose in 2023.
Since 1982, the Sunshine Kids Foundation has provided a variety of local, regional, and national events involving thousands of young cancer patients from hospitals across North America. All activities, transportation, lodging, and food are free to the children and attending medical staff.
