The Irish Heritage Singers present their annual St. Patrick's Day concert on Sunday, March 6, 3:00 pm at Skokie Theatre.
Under the direction of Paul Matijevic, the Singers will present songs commemorating the Irish in WWI, the 1916 Easter Uprising, choral arrangements by U2, Phil Coulter, and Perch French, along with other Irish favorites.
Since the 1970's, the Irish Heritage Singers have been showcasing music where either the composition, the text, or in many cases both are of Irish origin. They are one of the very few Irish/Irish American Choral ensembles in the United States.
