It's A "Baby" Grand Night For Singing
An All-Star Cabaret Fundraiser. Sun, Aug 30. 5 pm. Tickets $25. At Skokie Theatre
Over 20 performers from the cabaret, jazz, and theatre music scene are gathering together for Skokie Theatricals, a 501(c)3 foundation, to raise money towards providing the Skokie Theatre with a Yamaha digital baby-grand piano.
Scheduled to perform during the two-act evening are: Boomer Babes- Pam Peterson and Jan Janet Slavin, children’s theatre group Broadway, Our Way!, Charlene Brooks, Laura Freeman, Jenifer French, Roy Gantz, Russ Goeltenbodt, Carla Gordon, Skip Griparis, Molly LeCaptain from the cast of “Next to Normal,” Julia Merchant and the cast of “Say You Love Me,” Tecora Rogers, Judy Rossignuolo-Rice, and Scott Urban. Musical direction and performances by George Howe, Bob Moreen, and Johnny Rodgers. Multimedia presentation by Charles Troy. Hosted by Daryl Nitz and Charlene Brooks.
