SKOKIE, IL — The following information comes from the Skokie Police Department as a record of those recently arrested and of incidents reported to the police. Readers are reminded that arrest does not prove guilt, as criminal charges represent merely accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
INCIDENTS
HOME BURGLARY
Someone broke into a home through a window and stole property in the 8800 block of Lowell Terrace in Skokie between noon and 3:12 p.m. on June 27.

HIT-AND-RUN/STOLEN CAR
A stolen car and drugs were recovered from a hit-and-run incident in the 5000 block of Touhy Avenue around 9:39 p.m. on June 27.
SEX ASSAULT
An aggravated criminal sexual assault was reported in the 8100 block of Knox Avenue around 2:50 a.m. on June 28.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
An incident of aggravated assault was reported at the intersection of Cleveland Street and Keating Avenue around 5:36 p.m. on June 28.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY
An aggravated battery to a senior citizen was reported between 4:45 and 4:51 p.m on June 29 in the 3900 block of Dempster Street.
CHILD ENDANGERMENT
The lives of two children were reportedly endangered at an unspecified business at the Old Orchard Shopping Center between 12:45 and 1:27 p.m. on June 30.
PUBLIC INDECENCY
A man with a mental disorder was reported to have exposed himself and masturbated around 6:52 p.m. on June 30 at Oakton Park pool at 4701 Oakton Street.
THREATS
A Main Street resident reported that they had received messages asking for money in exchange for not releasing a compromising video between 9 p.m. on June 25 and 9 a.m. on June 30.
BATTERY
Two juveniles were attacked by two people in the 4800 block of Louise Avenue between 2:15 and 2:23 p.m. on July 3.
ARRESTS
Lace L. Hannah. 27, of the 1300 block of South Spaulding Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on the afternoon of June 28 in the 5400 block of Touhy Avenue and charged with obstructing justice and theft of $500 or under.
Smiljana Nenadich, 57, of the 8500 block of Mason Avenue in Morton Grove, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. on June 28 in the 7300 block of Niles Center Road and charged with retail theft.
Enrique Mora Morales, 21, of the 1100 block of Dewey Avenue in Evanston, was arrested at 3:08 a.m. on June 30 in the 4200 block of Dempster Street and charged with possession of methamphetamine. According to Evanston police and the Cook County sheriff's office, he had been arrested five days earlier with an illegal gun and marijuana and released after posting a $1,000 cash bond. The driver, a 58-year-old Chicago man was charged with driving with a revoked license. A 28-year-old Chicago man and a 25-year-old Chicago woman were released without charges following an investigation into whether he was unlawfully in possession of a weapon as a felon and she was unlawfully using a weapons.
Noel Mbuembue, 51, of the 1500 block of McDaniel Avenue in Evanston, was arrested at 5:46 a.m. on June 30 in the 3300 block of Oakton Street and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 or above.
Socheat Sun, 38, of the 3400 block of Michael Avenue in Park City, was arrested shortly before 4 a.m. on July 1 in the 4000 block of Touhy Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
Gus Walter Kuman, 59, of the 3800 block of Louise Avenue in Skokie, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. on July 1 in the 3800 block of Louise Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and endangering the health of a child.
Ogochukwu C. Okonkwor, 31, of the 1600 block of Monroe Street in Evanston, was arrested at 12:38 a.m. on July 2 in the 3200 block of Oakton Street and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 or above.
Furgan M. Haroon, 29, of the 7400 block of Laramie Avenue in Skokie, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. on July 2 in the 8800 block of Gross Point Road and charged with battery.
Ryan A. Juska, 47, of the 1600 block of West Fargo Avenue in Chicago, was arrested around 7 p.m. on July 2 in the 9900 block of Lawler Avenue and charged with resisting police.
Martinique L. Cooper, 40, of the 9300 block of Landings Lane in Des Plaines, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. on July 2 in the 4900 block of Dempster Avenue and charged with possession of a a controlled substance and delivery of possessions of intent to deliver.
Jamal I. Rufus, 18, of the 8300 block of Trumbull Avenue in Skokie, was arrested at 2:41 p.m. on July 3 in the 7800 block of Skokie Boulevard and charged with disorderly conduct.
Rudy Rudolph Memmen, 54, of the 3200 block of North Keating Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 6:40 a.m. on July 4 in the 7500 block of Lincoln Avenue and charged with criminal trespassing to a vehicle.
Eduardo Ramirez, 26, of the 1700 block of West Albion Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on an in-state arrest warrant in the 5400 block of Oakton Street at 6:25 p.m. on July 4.
Jareth D. Estrada, 40, of the 4900 block of Hull Street in Skokie, was arrested at 11:23 p.m. on July 4 in the 4300 block of Keeney Street and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and resisting arrest.
