Meet C.A.R.E. Pets ‘Hunk-a Burnin’ Love’ Elvis-the-Cat and ‘Ain’t Nothin’ But a Hound Dog’ Clyde
Pets from the Community Animal Rescue Effort get in the Halloween spirit.
SKOKIE, IL - The Community Animal Rescue Effort has cats and dogs available for adoption. The non-profit organization serves the North Shore region and north side of Chicago. Every week, Patch will highlight a set of cats and dogs available for adoption from C.A.R.E., which plans to open a shelter facility in Skokie in 2017.

ELVIS
C.A.R.E. boy Elvis is a real ‘hunk-a hunk-a burnin’ love,’ baby. In addition to his crazy good looks, Elvis is one laid-back, chill dude. “I love people and have lived with dogs and kids. I will lay on my back for belly rubs. I'm very easygoing and adapt well to new situations. I'd love for you to come meet me!”

Domestic Shorthair, Born in 2008, Grey and White Tuxedo, Neutered male
Children: Yes, older and cat-experienced

CLYDE
What will C.A.R.E. boy Clyde wear for Halloween? Why, he’s going to dress up as the Best Pet Ever, even though he ‘ain’t nothing but a hound dog,’ according to his cat buddy Elvis (see above).
Clyde, who’s been in foster care for more than a year now with one of Chicago’s top dog trainers, is a smart, energetic boy. Clyde loves meeting and playing with other dogs. Thanks to the training he’s already received, Clyde is certain to be a star student at dog obedience classes. Won’t you come meet him soon?
