Meet Lucky, 'Black From The Beyond'
Black cats at shelters are always the last to be adopted. We hope that C.A.R.E. cat Lucky will prove the exception.
Black cats always are the last to be adopted from shelters. Still, we thought C.A.R.E. cat Lucky might be an exception to the rule. Lucky arrived at the Evanston Animal shelter scared and a little beat up.
"I have a crumpled ear due to an earlier injury, but I really want to trust people," Lucky reveals shyly. "I like petting once I get comfortable with new people. I’m sweet and gentle and have a wise face and soulful eyes. Would you like to be my rescue angel? Come meet me at C.A.R.E."
LUCKY’S STATS:
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old, Black, Neutered male.
ASPCA Feline-ality™ Assessment rating: Purple / Private Investigator
Lucky would do best in a quiet home. He will need patience to come out of his shell. He could go to a home with cat experienced quiet children over 12.
Lucky is microchipped, neutered, and has had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines.
