Niles North Presents "Enemy of the People" on October 9 - 11

The Niles North Theatre Department presents Henrik Ibsen’s classic, “Enemy of the People” on October 9 through 11 in the Auditorium at 9800 North Lawler, Skokie. Adapted by Arthur Miller, the play highlights one man’s idealistic fight for truth against corruption and greed. Set against three different backdrops –a proposed spa in the 1880s, during the Three Mile Island accident, and during the Gulf oil spill, with each setting posing an environmental dilemma for the characters. How will one man’s bravery survive in the face of overwhelming odds? Performances are at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, October 10 and 11 in the Auditorium at 9800 Lawler, Skokie.
