North Shore Obituary: Mary Lou Jeffrey, 97

Mary Lou Jeffrey (Lara) passed away on January 1, 2015 at the age of 97, after living a loving and joyful life, which was centered on her husband and family. She was the beloved wife of 68 years to the late Guile E. Jeffrey; loving mother of Gary Jeffrey (Yolanda Lew) and Gail (Lawrence) Schumacher; a loving and adored grandmother of Lauren, Lindsey and Charlie Schumacher. Mary Lou was the dear sister of Angie Vibert, the late Helen Rodgers, Josephine Martinez, Emily Lara, Annie Peelman, and Tony Lara. Well-loved Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Lou’s family is grateful to her kind caregiver Tita Dayap.

Visitation Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until time of the Funeral mass 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Church, 9711 W. Devon Ave, Rosemont, IL 60018.

Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Our Lady of Hope Church Youth Group c/o of the church.
