Oakton Street Closes for Backlot Bash

A section of Oakton Street in Downtown Skokie will be closed for Skokie’s Backlot Bash beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 28 through Monday, August 31 at 2 a.m.

Oakton Street will be closed from Lincoln Avenue to Laramie Avenue, with local traffic only from Gross Point Road east to Laramie Avenue. Traffic traveling east will be diverted north on Gross Point Road to Lincoln Avenue, and then south on Lincoln Avenue back to Oakton Street. Westbound traffic will be diverted north on Lincoln Avenue to Gross Point Road and continue south back to Oakton Street.
