Potash Markets + Folonari Wines = $1000 For Charity

Potash Markets and Folonari Wines are very happy to look back at their successful "Turn The Towns Teal" charity event of 2013.  Thanks to their efforts and the efforts of their customers, Potash Markets and Folonari Wines were able to donate $1000 to National Ovarian Cancer Awareness via Turn The Towns Teal.

The Potash families from Skokie & Lincolnwood and their employees & customers proudly worked again with this charity last September & October.  Potash & Folonari each donated 50¢ per bottle ($1 per bottle total) equaling $1000.

President & CEO Art Potash has stated previously: "I'm excited about the opportunity to help a good cause as part of our role in the community during the course of doing business, while his noted wine authority Alan Blum explained: "Our donated money includes dollar for dollar matching, plus 50 cents per bottle.  Veteran employee Jeff Iwamuro previously summed up their recent charity work and their Clark St. renovation: "This gives us a cutting edge in the 21st century to help take care of the neighborhood."

This 2013 Potash-Folonari campaign also proved to be more successful with twice as many raffle entries for 3 gift baskets than in 2012.

"Turn The Towns Teal" promotes awareness of ovarian cancer and its silent symptoms and the end result is: the earlier the diagnosis, the better the prognosis.
