SKOKIE, IL — The following information was released by the Skokie Police Department. Arrests do not necessarily imply guilt. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Readers are reminded that everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless their guilt is established beyond a reasonable doubt, and criminal charges represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

ARRESTS

Rafael Perez, 19, of the 7300 block of Damen Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on July 21 at 8:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of Harvard Terrace for violating "motor vehicle anti-theft law."

Christian Sanchez, 29, of the 1300 block of Mt. Prospect, was arrested on July 20 at 2:56 p.m. in the 4900 block of Old Orchard Center on two charges of retail theft, one of obstructing identification and one of criminal trespassing.

Eric Moore, 39, of the 1100 block of Church Street in Evanston, was arrested on July 17 at 10:25 p.m. in the 4700 block of Golf Road for identity theft and theft of lost or mislaid property.

Cristian Bucio-Leyva, 25, of the 2300 block of W. rosemont Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on July 23 at 2:23 a.m. on charges of DUI and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

Ferdinand Sporea, 32, of the 7900 block of Karlov Avenue in Skokie, was arrested on July 19 at 7:18 p.m. for driving with a suspended or revoked license and on an in-state warrant.

Jeremy Zaloun, 43, of the 7400 block of N. Ridge in Chicago, was arrested on July 17 at 9:07 a.m. in the 3600 block of Touchy Avenue for possession of methamphetamine, identity theft and an in-state warrant.

Maria Alanis, 33, of the 6100 block of N. Damien Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on July 21 at 6:52 p.m. in the 3600 block of Touchy Avenue on a charge of retail theft.

Taetum Morris, 18, of the 1400 block of 8th Pl. in Cape Coral, Florida, was arrested on July 18 at 2:10 p.m. in the 5000 block of Dempster Street on an out-of-state warrant.

David Nagler, 29, of the 9700 block of Lowell Avenue in Skokie, was arrested on July 16 at 4:10 p.m. in the 4900 block of Dempster Street on retail theft charges.

Robyn Curtis, 30, of the 8800 block of Lemon Avenue in Skokie, was arrested on July 18 at 3:20 a.m. at her residence on an in-state warrant charge.

Marvin Lewis, 38, of the 1100 block of 69th Street in Kenosha, Wisconsin, was arrested on July 21 at 10:20 p.m. in the 5000 block of Oakton Street on an out-of-state warrant and for diving on a suspended or revoked license.

James Bacus, 61, of the 4200 block of W. Thorndale Avenue in Chicago, was arrested July 21 at 2:13 a.m. in the 7900 block of Skokie Boulevard on DUI charges.

Oscar Campos Vivanco, 28, of the 8000 block of Kilpatrick Avenue, was arrested on July 19 at 10:14 p.m. in the 4800 block of Oakton Street on DUI charges.

Robert Gevargiz, 38, of the 8300 block of Knox Avenue, was arrested on July 16 at 6:05 p.m. at his home on aggravated assault and resisting or obstructing an officer.

Steven Carlson, 35, of the 3800 block of Dobson Street, was arrested on July 17 in the 8300 block of Skokie Boulevard on DUI charges.

Debra Greenberg, 62, of the 9700 block of Greenwood in Niles, was arrested on July 17 at 8:40 p.m. in the 7300 block of Niles Center Road on an in-state warrant.

Stanley King, 47, of the 3800 block of W. Greenleaf Avenue in Lincolnwood, was arrested on July 17 at 6:20 p.m. in the 7300 block of Niles Center Road on a charge of public indecency.

Joshua Viruet, 26, of the 3700 block of Leland in Chicago, was arrested on July 19 at 8:20 p.m. in the 7300 block of Niles Center Road on a charge of criminal damage to property.

Jeffrey Pendleton, 57, of the 3700 block of W. 76th Street in Chicago, was arrested on July 23 at 9:37 p.m. in the 7300 block of Niles Center Road on charges of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use or possession of a weapon by a felon and possession with intent to deliver.
